Consumer Reports' Top 10 Vehicles for 2026 Goes Electric

The much anticipated Consumer Reports annual top 10 picks for new cars, SUVs and light trucks is out again, and it reveals some interesting trends.

While electrics have been growing in popularity and reliability, this is the first year that every model on the list is either fully electric, a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, or available as one. It's both a reflection of the market and a reflection of CR's extensive testing. Simply put, hybrids and electrics are more reliable.
